SCOTTISH HARD ROCK / NWOBHM ROOTS
MEDUSA TOUCH
Edinburgh Scotland - Est 1983
Medusa Touch are a Scottish hard/heavy rock band forged in 1983 during the era of the NWOBHM. After disbanding in 1991, the band returned in 2019 with renewed energy, finally recording decades of unreleased material and writing new songs. They have since released three albums, eight singles, and continue their legacy with powerful live shows and new music on the way

ABOUT THE BAND
Medium Bio
Formed in Edinburgh in 1983, Medusa Touch emerged from the NWOBHM movement with a sound built on harmonised twin guitars, melodic aggression, and hard-driving classic metal. Though they became a cult name in Scotland’s ’80s live circuit, the band never released material at the time — disbanding in 1991 and leaving their songs unheard outside of gigs.
In 2019, Medusa Touch returned with a mission: to finally record the music that defined their early years and to bring new material to life. Since reforming, the band have released three albums — Terror Eyes (2019), Insaniteyes (2022), and Neutral Eyes (2025, CD and red 12″ vinyl) — along with eight singles. Their sound channels the spirit of Saxon, Heavy Pettin, Y&T and WASP, delivering big riffs, twin guitars, and raw energy rooted in classic heavy rock.
