Medusa Touch returns with new single “LONELY DRIVER” – a roaring salute to the golden age of heavy metal
Edinburgh, Scotland — November 2025 — The engines of classic heavy rock roar back to life this winter as Medusa Touch announces the release of their new double-track single, “LONELY DRIVER,” out December 5th, 2025 on all major streaming platforms.
The release includes two versions of the anthem:
“Lonely Driver” (Studio) – a brand new, full-throttle recording that channels the raw energy, power riffs, and arena-filling spirit of 1980s heavy metal.
“Lonely Driver (Live ’87)” – a previously unreleased live version, recorded in the band’s prime during their 1987 tour, restored from the original tapes and mastered for today’s listeners.
“This song is everything we love about rock,” the band said. “It’s about freedom, fire, and life on the edge — the same things that made us plug in and play loud back in the day.”
“Lonely Driver” marks a thunderous return to the band’s roots and a reminder that true heavy metal never dies — it just gets louder.
